Reply To: Restoring the Black Community
Looking at the Black community, it isn’t difficult to see the impact of institutionalized racism on people of African descent in the United States of America. We have higher poverty levels, imprisonment, infant mortality, premature mortality, disease, etc. I have some questions I’d like to discuss especially within the context of “The Well” and the impact it can potentially make on the Black community. Is it possible for the plight of Black Americans to change? Has it been changing or staying stagnant? What is being done to improve Blacks? Is there more that can be done that may be more effective?
